1 1/2 cup of no salt or low sodium black beans, rinsed and drained
10 medjool dates or 1 1/4 cup of regular dates and pitted
2 tablespoons of raw almond butter
3/4 cup of natural non alkalized cocoa powder
1 tablespoon ground flax or chia seed
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract or pure vanilla bean powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees on a 8 × 8 baking dish with parchment paper. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. If you cannot process the ingredients use one fourth to a half of cup of unsweetened non dairy milk may be added. Bake for 35 mins. Cool completely and cut into 12 squares. Store in covered container in the refrigerator up to a week.
